This weekend just marked the second in a run of events I have been lucky enough to be involved with hosted by The Sage Gateshead. For the very few of you who maybe reading this from afar and don't dwell in the North, The Sage is an international music centre & event venue, which is home to the Royal Northern Sinfonia, and an iconic landmark settled into the banks of the River Tyne.

In this post I wanted to share a few snaps from the most recent of the series, so you can see what we got up to!

Each workshop is set to feature a different musician, so this time, we had a wonderful duo of folk musicians. Ada Grace Francis, on the Harp, and Imogen Bose-Ward on the fiddle. Ada accompanied my teaching in the very first event, which was fantastic, and this was my first time meeting Imogen, however combined as a pair, they were just perfect.

I've always been passionate about music, I was brought up on my parent's expansive and eclectic vinyl collection, so combining music into my classes and teaching has simply been a very natural way to express myself. It fills me with so much joy to be able to share these creative, unique and intimate moments with people who have practised with me before, and also those experiencing my classes for the first time.
