YWG Intention

My intention in sharing this practice with you, is to give you that space in the day to meet yourself where you are. Whatever that means or looks like for you, wherever you are in your yoga journey. My aim is that you learn to build trust in your body, & yourself, to let your body be the guide, to redefine what it means to pause.

Each & every time we show up, it’s different, whether you spend that time in my classes in complete stillness, Childs pose, or whether you sweat your way through binds & topple out of balances laughing at the moment you lost yourself in seriousness, I want you to feel like all of it is accepted & that anything is possible all at the same time.

Your Yoga

I hope that my classes are accessible & inclusive whilst remaining relatable to our modern lives without losing the wisdom & beauty of an ancient traditional practice. I teach in English, with some Sanskrit woven throughout, whilst visually demonstrating, verbally cueing & offering physical adjustments where appropriate. I appreciate everyone has different needs in public classes & allow the space for yours every session so I can meet you where you are & provide the best experience for you.

  • Please see the Class Styles page for a full description of each session. Whilst my public classes vary in level, I teach a range of beginner friendly to intermediate sessions so I am sure there will be something for you!

  • Karma Coast Collective & Hotpod Yoga Sunderland both have everything you need provided. All you need is yourself, clothing you’re comfortable to move in, & some water. However if you do prefer to use your own mat or props, that is absolutely fine.

  • Hotpod Yoga Sunderland operates it’s own pricing & booking system via their website. Classes held at Karma Coast Collective are £10 a session. If cost is a barrier to you attending any sessions please get in touch. Discounted bundles are also available through my booking system.

  • Everyone’s circumstances & situations vary, physically, mentally & emotionally. Although I aim to offer enough variations throughout a class to support the majority of attendees I would encourage anyone with any specific health concerns to get in touch so we can discuss how I can support you.

  • 'I attended Grace's Flow sessions, on a Tuesday evening after training at The Campfire Gym. Grace's sessions worked to lengthen & bring space back into the body facilitating with breath work, to mobilise, stretch & relax all at once. Flow is accessible to anyone, not just those with prior yoga experience. They are primarily mobility sessions & Grace has a deep understanding of the body & nervous system, as well as a constant awareness of the levels & abilities of students in the room with whom she is working.
